James K. Pease, Jr.

Successfully defeating union organizing campaigns and effectively dealing with picketing and strike activity, secondary boycotts, “salting” and other coercive union strategies. Negotiating labor agreements Defending grievance arbitrations, union trust fund suits, and discrimination claims. Advising employers on day-to-day personnel and other employment-related matters. Helping employers comply with wage and hour laws.

Mr. Pease acts as general counsel to the Associated Builders and Contractors of Wisconsin, Inc., and is a frequent speaker and author on labor and employment issues in the construction industry. The Martindale-Hubbell law directory gives him its highest rating of “AV” for professional competency and ethical conduct.  He also is a mediator in the Dane County Case Mediation Program, assisting in resolving a variety of disputes.

Mr. Pease earned his B.A. degree from Carroll College (1963) and his J.D. from the University of Wisconsin (1966). He is a member of the Wisconsin State Bar Association and the Dane County Bar Association.
