Jenifer L. Kraemer

Jenifer L. Kraemer is a partner with the firm. Her practice focuses primarily on business law and litigation, construction law and litigation, and real estate. Ms. Kraemer represents business owners, architects, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, developers, landlords and homeowners on a variety of issues. Her experience includes:
 

  • Representing contractors, subcontractors, and architects on construction matters, including public and private construction lien and bond issues, construction bidding issues, and drafting and negotiating construction contracts.
  • Representing parties in construction and business disputes through mediation, arbitration, and litigation.
  • Providing legal services on a variety of business matters such as organizing corporations and limited liability companies, reviewing commercial loan documents and leases, registration of trademarks and tradenames, and sales and purchases of business assets.
  • Advising landlords on rental issues, including drafting and reviewing residential leases, and handling disputes regarding lease terms and security deposits.
  • Representing home buyers and sellers in residential real estate transactions, including drafting and reviewing offers to purchase, loan documents, and closing documents.
 

Ms. Kraemer has been elected President of the Associate Board of Directors for the Associated General Contractors of Wisconsin.  She also sits on the board of the Madison Junior Golf Foundation.

Ms. Kraemer earned her B.A. degree from Sonoma State University (1992), and her J.D. degree, cum laude, from the University of Wisconsin (1998). She is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin and Dane County Bar Association.
